What is Key Difference Between MCB And MCCB ?

 MCB

1. MCB is a one type of switch which is protect the electrical equipment from overload current

2. Full form of MCB is miniature Circuit Breakers.

3.Tripping circuit of MCB is fixed.

4. MCB is available in single, two and three pole arrangements.

5. Current instructing ratting of MCB is 1800 A

6. Remote on and off not possible in case of MCB.

7. Current rating of MCB is up to 100amp.

8. It is mostly used for lighting circuit and low current loads.

9. MCB is used in domestic wiring only.

10. MCB is electromechanical equipment that protects the electrical wires and Electrical Home devices from Overcurrent. if any electrical home devices short-circuited, MCB trips and protects the equipment from failure.

MCCB

1. MCCB protects equipment from overtemperature and from heavy fault current.

2. Full form of MCCB is molded case circuit breaker

3. Tripping circuit of MCCB is movable.

4. MCCB is available in single, two and three, and four-pole systems.

5. Current interrupting ratting of MCCB is 10K to 200K.

6.Remote on and off is possible in case MCCB.

7. Current ratting of MCCB is 10-200 A

8. Mostly used for heavy currents flowing loads.

9.it is mostly used for commercial and industrial

10. MCCB is Electrical Equipment which protects the electrical equipment from short circuit, Overload.
